So are you ready to find out if you are a Dumb Domainer? This is a true story btw. My brother always said the worst thing you can do is call somebody dumb or stupid. :-) Of course that would automatically make you a Dumb Domainer! A Dumb Domainer with no balls! LOL! You can close the blog now if you are a chicken shit. But wait!! He is not alone! There are a LOAD of Dumb Dominers. A nice guy, with a great domain but he is dumb. I am going to tell you a story of a Dumb Domainer. The Dumb Domainer Story! Are YOU a Dumb Domainer? Let’s See! The following were early sales to establish domain value. (Bought via broker for about $100,000 in 2005) (Purchased for $42,000 in 1997) It is important to note that this domain had career earnings in excess of $15 Million via pay per click earnings and never had adult content)ĩ89.com $818,181.81 (registered for $100 in 1997)Ĩ99.com $801,000 (registered for $100 in 1997)ĩ595.com $180,000 (registered for $100 in 1998) This was the 4th largest recorded cash domain sale ever!
They live in tropical rainforests in mountainous and lowland areas of Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The Grauer’s gorilla (Gorilla beringei graueri) or Eastern Lowland Gorilla is only found in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This sub-specie of Gorillas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is the reason why Congo is the best gorilla destination. A mountain gorilla family in Virunga National Park Additionally, thanks to new infrastructures and a good management team, the Virunga National Park is receiving on average 500 tourists trekking the mountain gorillas. Thanks to an amazing work being done by the ICCN, the Virunga National Park has recorded more than 5 new baby gorilla births in 2020. Mountain Gorillas are fewer than 1000 and are spread between the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda and Uganda. Gorillas are natives to Africa and according to WWF (World Wildlife Federation), gorillas are the world’s largest primate. The Democratic Republic of Congo is blessed to be one of the 3 countries with endangered mountain gorilla species. Gorillas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are one of the wildlife species that have put Congo on the map being known for the gorilla trekking activity that many travelers fancy across the world. The Eastern gorilla is also divided into two subspecies: The Mountain gorilla and the Eastern lowland gorilla, also known as the Grauer’s Gorillas. The western gorilla is divided into two subspecies: Western lowland gorillas and Cross River gorillas. Worldwide there exist two main species of gorillas: the western and eastern gorilla. Gorillas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are made of two subspecies: the Grauer’s Gorillas and the mountain Gorillas. PROTOTYPE: Discover what lies beyond the edge of evolution. Both games are decent enough in their own right, but Activision simply haven’t done enough to justify a repurchase of either, even at a reduced price.Bundle includes Prototype® and Prototype®2 with DLC! A word of warning though: newcomers will be left cold by the undeniably dated gameplay, while even returning fans won’t be wowed by the supposed improvements. Here’s the thing: if these games are going to eventually be backwards compatible, then there’s absolutely no reason to spend money on this version, but if you were really enamored by Radical’s titles in the first place and you just can’t wait to play them again, then it’s worth downloading. Aesthetically, not much changes beyond detail, and the same bugs abound, only now the in-engine cutscenes have a stuttering, fuzzy quality that feels decidedly last-gen, while the frame rate drops often enough to notice, and there’s screen tearing, too. Sadly, the second game actually runs worse than the original version in some cases. Heller handles much the same, though noticeably heavier, and you’ve got the added pleasure of hunting Mercer down for revenge. The story of James Heller, a vengeful soldier whose family was killed thanks to Mercer, the sequel offers similar gameplay with a few extra bells and whistles in the form of different mutations and more considered free-running. As a supposed remaster, it’s utterly disappointing. The same visual bugs, texture pop and screen tear remain, with noticeable slowdown during larger fights. Sadly, you wouldn’t know you were playing a different version if no-one told you as much. The new version of Prototype neither adds nor subtracts a thing, presenting the exact same game you played in 2009 with allegedly smoother graphics. The sense of being an ultimate badass might tip both games unfairly in your favour by the mid-point of each, but there’s harmless fun to be had tearing up Manhattan as both Mercer and Heller, taking out helicopters and leaping off skyscrapers for no good reason beyond the oddly-satisfying feeling of leaving a mini crater in the tarmac. Prototype always felt a bit like a poor man’s inFAMOUS, and it still does – which is not to say neither game has merit. It doesn’t help that Mercer is a needlessly violent, wholly unlikable douchebag who laments his curse one minute, then eviscerates and consumes an innocent old woman the next.Ĭharging up buildings, hurling puny humans across a city and destroying tanks with your bare hands are all decent pastimes in Prototype, and there are plenty of ability unlocks and collectibles to find, but it’s nothing you haven’t done elsewhere. It sounds cool, and for the most part it is, until the plot starts to disappear up its own arse in the final third and the whole thing degenerates into one big fight that gets really old really quick. Absorbing a person gives Mercer access to some of their memories and allows him to shape-shift into them should he need to, which becomes a gory focus of the gameplay. What follows is a pretty standard superhero rampage a la inFAMOUS as you target the soldiers and scientists of Blacklight, the dodgy paramilitary company Mercer blames for the outbreak. While most people are killed or consumed by the virus, Alex is strengthened, mutated, enhanced. The first Prototype follows Alex Mercer, the victim of a powerful mutagenic virus running rampant through Manhattan. Having now played both games, I can sort of see why. It was almost as if they felt somehow apologetic. I didn’t know about the remastered bundle hitting Xbox One until it hit, but Activision’s stealth release seemed geared for that effect. I’m also not ashamed to say I was probably a little generous, in hindsight. I reviewed both of Radical’s Prototype titles upon release and I’m not ashamed to say I gave both games 8/10. Sometimes, now and then, you just get it wrong. You try not to second guess yourself and you try to be as thorough as you can. Sometimes you don’t miss miss them, but misjudge them instead. As a critic, you try to analyse every detail, try to subjectively examine every facet. Sometimes it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what’s wrong with a game. It's a succession of impressive vistas that simply force you to stop and drink it all in. This is a stunning world to spend time in. We'd like to see this a little more consistently applied, but the odd light touch in amongst all the po-faced quest-giving is most welcome. We criticised Ravensword: Shadowlands's plot, but in truth it has a fair crack at injecting a little personality and humour into proceedings. The zoomed-in live map is too zoomed-in, making it hard to get your bearings, while the large overmap lacks essential detail. Speaking of menus, both of the maps in the game are pretty useless. The inventory menu is a bit of a mess - once it fills up it can take ages to scroll to the weapon or health potion you want - but otherwise this is a solidly structured RPG. You can also acquire new weapons and armour at shops or through good old dungeon-crawling, and imbue your blades with extra abilities using special gems. You can attribute skill points to a number of areas as you level-up, allowing you to specialise in ranged, melee, or magical combat, as well as improving your athleticism (there's a dedicated 'jump' button here, oddly) and even stealth abilities. While Ravensword: Shadowlands won't be challenging any of the top console RPGs for depth, it does represent a solid step forward. The first game took a bit of flak for being a bit too light on the RPG mechanic. Meanwhile, on the flip side of the coin, the AI is so dumb that it's often possible to jam certain tough enemies on the other side of a tree or rock while you either heal or ping fireballs or arrows at them. And having to lift your finger off the 'attack' buttons to constantly modify your view can be maddening. Switching between ranged and melee weapons on the fly can be really fiddly in pressure situations such as this, where you're forced to back off and launch the odd attack when you can. Get attacked by two swift-moving sword-wielders at once and it can be impossible to get off a shot, with each nimble strike tying you up for a second - just enough time for the other attacker to get in his own jab. The trouble is, in tight corners and tricky situations it's both frustratingly punishing and ridiculously easy. Engaging enemies one-on-one is a pretty basic case of tapping the virtual 'attack' button when in range, although the need to block from time to time does add a certain depth. Ravensword: Shadowlands's combat is its key weakness. You'll eat automatically, so it feels a little pointless, but it's evidently an incentive to keep swinging your axe, sword, hammer, or whatever. These also yield up food for your hero to live off. You can even go hunting, with each area containing its own unique wildlife, including boar, wolf-like wargs, and towering rhino-like creatures, to name just a few. Other areas of the world are free for you to explore as you wish, and these are useful for levelling your hero up, acquiring valuable loot to sell or equip, and completing the many optional side-quests you're given. This entails chasing up a bunch of Ravenstones in order to obtain the legendary Ravensword so that you can use it to, well, you know the score. Some of these are mission-critical, as you follow the game's predictable fantasy story. Crescent Moon offers you a world comprising a bunch of decent-sized hubs, cities, villages, and caves. This is as big and open an RPG as you're likely to get on iOS. The follow-up is an altogether more seasoned, capable traveller, but it still has a few character flaws that cost it a little come the final reckoning. Ravensword: The Fallen King was a noble yet flawed game, notable for its charm and its adventurous spirit, but held back from achieving its full potential by a critical lack of intelligence and depth.Īfter an epic three-year gap, the series is back in the form of Ravenswood: Shadowlands. * Get Insight from Your Sims - Read the rhythm of the city, from commuter hell to mellow cruising, noon-time crowds to night-time calm. The lack of a crosshair just makes it painfully frustrating to accurately pick what you want to tag on the horizon when icons are cluttered together. And targeting icons when using the Analysis Visor, something that was already tough to do in non-VR at times, is nearly impossible in VR. Quick gesture commands in place of hot keys could have helped a lot. UI navigation is mostly intuitive with lots of holographic menus that you point at to make selections, but it gets tedious after a few dozen hours. Other aspects like ship and exocraft controls feel very wonky and floaty in VR at first, taking some real getting used to. Obviously you can install new technologies on your exosuit and ship to get that sort of gradual advancement, but it’s rarely combat focused. There isn’t a stat-based progression system of any kind, no abilities you unlock, it’s just very basic. You point and shoot your mining beam for rudimentary attacks early on or point and shoot your boltcaster and other weapons you’ll eventually unlock later in the game. For example, combat is about a bare bones as it gets - especially on foot. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s as vast as an ocean and as deep as a puddle, but there are whiffs of that notion throughout. With that ambition though, to let No Man’s Sky offer a bit of everything, is the caveat that none of the individual pieces are as refined or as deep as they could be. The sense of discovery is so ingrained into No Man’s Sky’s DNA that players can rename everything they discover from planets and solar systems to animals and flora. This is basically, “it’s not the destination that matters, it’s the journey” boiled down into a video game. While there is a main storyline about aliens, ancient civilizations, and solving mysteries, that’s far from the point of it all. Truth be told No Man’s Sky is a bit like several games jammed together into one package. It’s a connected universe that feels much larger than just a game. It’s the difference between wanting to finish the tutorial so you can get to the real game and wanting to find the necessary resources to keep surviving. Even though I could be considered a VR veteran at this point, it still caught me by surprise just how staggering the sense of scale was or the illusion of presence as I stood on my starting planet, stranded and alone. There is so much to do and see it will likely sour the taste of future experiences. I’m frankly envious of someone that can don a VR headset for the first time and experience a game like this as their introduction to the medium. And seeing it all from inside of a VR headset is a rare kind of escapism I haven’t seen executed this well before. This is a game in which you can explore a vast, massive planet full of unique flora and fauna, go mining, dig caves, explore underwater, terraform, build bases, and uncover ancient relics - then take off and fly to another planet or solar system and do it all over again without ever hitting a loading screen. The premise alone for No Man’s Sky is almost too good to be true, especially when you add VR support into the mix, and that’s probably why it’s taken over three years post-launch to get to this point. At least, the 1.0 edition of VR as Sean Murray from Hello Games puts it. With this update comes a revamped multiplayer experience, tons of new game mechanics like creature taming and expanded base building, and most importantly, complete VR support. Initially released three years ago, No Man’s Sky has evolved over the years and dramatically improved itself up until now, the Beyond Update, which is officially 2.0 for the non-VR version. You see, No Man’s Sky is built on top of Hello Games’ ambitious procedural generation system that crafts billions of planets across millions of star systems and simulates plants, animals, terrain, alien species, economies, and more throughout the entire universe as a whole. New players always awake on a strange, unfamiliar planet with nothing but a space suit and displaced spaceship awaiting repairs with the guidance to follow an identical set of instructions to get up and running - it’s the same, but different. Every game of No Man’s Sky begins both exactly the same and completely differently for each person. The QuadAir Drone also has insane technical specs that far outperform its competitors. When compared to competitors in the same price range, the drone's flight time is quite impressive, lasting up to 8 minutes before crashing to the ground. Before recharging the battery, the QuadAir Drone guarantees a flight time of at least 30 minutes when fully charged. This drone is popular among social media users because it can capture cool aerial view shots and videos for their timelines and personal blogs. It has a 2-megapixel camera with 720p video recording capability. The QuadAir Drone may not be ideal for professional and industrial applications that require extensive and long-term filming, but it is ideal for domestic use. Because of the drone's increased stability, the operator can perform mid-air stunts and maneuvers while having a blast because he isn't afraid of the drone crashing down on his face. This distinguishes it from other products on the market. When in use, the QuadAir Drone has a standard feature called the board-gyro, which maintains altitude and improves stability. It has a sleek and elegant design that sets it apart from other drones in this price range. While shopping in a drone store, the design and model of the drone will catch your eye. The QuadAir Drone can be operated by anyone who has never flown a drone before. Learning to fly the QuadAir Drone is easier than learning to fly other drones for a beginner. You can also check the stores directory on the websites: Woodbury & Jersey Gardens. Sales tax is calculated per item, so even if you buy two or more items that add up to $110 or more, you only pay tax on the items that individually cost $110 or more. An item of clothing or footwear that costs $110 or more is subject to the full 8.875% tax rate. Now, a very important information that few people know: there is no sales tax on an item of clothing or footwear that costs less than $110. At Woodbury, the tax charged is 8,125% for all items – except clothes and shoes under $110, which have a 4% tax. At Jersey Gardens, taxes are 3.5% – and there is no charge for clothing. The percentage varies according to each state and city. The price of a product on the shelf is not the amount you will pay when going to checkout because the taxes only appear at the time of purchase. Jersey Gardens is a closed-mall with heating and air conditioning, which in the winter of New York makes all the difference because you do not have to be taking off and putting on your coat every time you enter or leave a store. Woodbury is open, rain or shine, summer or winter. You can buy the ticket at the NJ Transit terminals at the Porth Authority Bus Terminal. By bus, the ticket costs $14 (round trip), leaving from Porth Authority Bus Terminal and the trip takes approximately 31 minutes. Jersey Gardens: 17 miles by car from Times Square (approximately 43min, depending on traffic). You can buy the ticket with the company Coach Usa and I also recommend to check out Groupon, because once in a while there are deals. By bus, the ticket costs from $35 to $42 (round trip), leaving from Port Authority Bus Terminal (42th street & Eighth Avenue) and the trip takes approximately 1h15min. Woodbury: 49 miles by car from Times Square (approximately 1h11min, depends on traffic). Stores: Woodbury has 237 stores and Jersey Gardens has 203 stores. I also would like to thank André Luiz Rossi, a reader who posted these information on the Facebook group and allowed me to use the information for today’s post. How to decide which one is best for you? Today’s post can help you decide. There are people who prefer Jersey Gardens, some other people prefer Woodbury. For example, I think New York has a great number of discount stores and if you are not looking for very specific things, these stores will be good for your needs – check the guide at the end of the post.īut back to the question about the two outlets, this subject is very recurrent. And then, there is the question: which outlet to choose?Īnd the answer is: it depends! In fact, even the simple fact of going to an outlet depends on your profile. Although they are quite popular in Florida, New York also has options: Jersey Gardens, which is in the city of Elizabeth, New Jersey, and Woodbury Commons, in Woodbury, NY. Our convenient bus stop is located in front of McDonald’s on the corner of West 51st St. Among those who want to do that, there are those who want to visit the outlets.
